Oscar Series: Darkest Hour

Join us for our April Oscar Series, featuring the 2018 Oscar nominees and winners. Our first film is Darkest Hour, starring Gary Oldman, the winner of the 2018 Oscar for Actor in a Leading Role. Check out the plot summary below.

“As Hitler’s forces storm across the European landscape and close in on the United Kingdom, Winston Churchill (Oldman) is elected the new Prime Minister. With his party questioning his every move, and King George VI (Ben Mendelsohn) skeptical of his new political leader, it is up to Churchill to lead his nation and protect them from the most dangerous threat ever seen.”

The screening will take place in the Meeting Room. Rated PG-13. Patrons under 13 must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Runtime 125 minutes. All films are screened with the subtitles on.
