Many people know that Aloha is a Hawaiian greeting, but fewer people know much about the Hawaiian Language beyond that greeting.

Tonightʻs presenter, Ms. Puamelia Pramuka,  has been studing the Hawaiian Language for over five years, and  is very knowledgeable about Hawaiiʻs History & Culture. 

In tonightʻs speaker program  you will learn about the history of the Hawaiian Language, learn about itʻs alphabet, and how to pronounce the letters of the alphabet.  You will also learn some common phrases, the Hawaiian names of the Kauaiʻs beaches and mountains.  And, perhaps you will also be able to learn a  short chant.
